Stewart Gulch, Idaho - Amazing Hiking Tips

Stewart Gulch is located in the foothills of the Snake River Canyon and is one of the most popular hiking locations in Idaho. The main trail follows the ridgeline as it snakes its way down the south rim of the canyon, but other trails follow the ridgeline on the western side of the trail. Regardless, of which direction you begin hiking in, bear in mind that this trail follows the terrain very closely. If you want to vary the slope slightly, be careful not to climb too far up the canyon. The terrain then gradually slopes to the southeast and gradually begins to level out at the base of the canyon. Boise, ID information can be seen at this link.

The lodge is a very nice place to stay because it is only a few minutes away from Idaho's famous Mount Idaho.
